Ladies and Gentlemen of the Senate, We the Undersigned, respectfully ask that you do not confirm the appointment of Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education. Ms. DeVos does not support the equal rights of students with disabilities to receive a Free and Appropriate Public Education as outlined in IDEA....
PLEASE SIGN THIS. It needs 200,000 and it is gaining signatures as I post this, but I KNOW Tumblr can get it to its goal and even beyond its goal.
Honestly I need to show this to my friends so that they can stop saying “wow I have insomnia too” when really they just think it would be cool to actually be diagnosed with something. It’s not cool. It’s so fucking frustrating to not be able to sleep, especially when you’ve got exams and finals and shit to do early the next morning. Jesus Christ
She wasn’t always Harley Quinn. She wasn’t created for the comics, but the show. She is NOT just some sexualized object placed in the movie. She is truly a complex character if you know her backstory. SHE IS A VICTIM OF ABUSE.
Mostly: her fans, new or old, don’t need to be disrespected. Whichever version of Harley you wish to dress up as for Halloween or Cosplay, do it. You’re not a slut. You’re not a whore or a “hoe”. You’re admiring a character that deserves to have recognition. Please don’t be rude to each other based on how we choose to portray her. Missing an item? Not the right material? Store bought? IT DOES NOT MATTER. You need to stick together. To the newer fans, who only are just now really knowing who she is due to Suicide Squad: you should really look into her character from the cartoon to the video games to now. You’ll understand her better. You don’t have to, it’s just a suggestion.
So, remember! Harleen Frances Quinzel (better known as Harley Quinn) is not a sex object. Even though she has always been a very sexual character, that doesn’t mean she is just an object. She has even been referred to as The Joker’s “Plaything” and “Sometimes Girlfriend”.
Alright, APH fandom. I need some help. I dislike APH now, due to some issues that happened in the previous years… but I have a song stuck in my head. PROBLEM IS. I don’t know the melody or the lyrics.. and it was used in a video for Germany and Prussia.
The song is in German. The lyrics are on the screen, in German with English Translation. It’s a video that pretty much is emotional, just a slideshow of pictures from APH. The song, however, is what makes it emotional, alongside the pictures of a war torn Germany, the Berlin Wall, and so on.
So, if anyone may know of a video similar to that, please message me! Or leave a note on this post! Thank you.

I was assigned to support a pretty high-level meeting in a facility that takes over an hour to drive to in morning traffic. I decided to leave the house early to give me plenty of time to get to the building and have time to enjoy a cup of coffee and a doughnut. I hit some traffic but still made it in a little less than an hour. I was loving the fact that I got a decent parking spot and had close to an hour to get my coffee, read the paper and then get to the meeting with plenty of time to spare.
I was loving life until I looked in my backseat and found this asshole decided to sneak into my back seat!
I ended up handing the meeting off to someone else so I could take the shit head back home.
TL/DR; Left home early to beat traffic to an important meeting and brought my stupid cat with me.

So, dear Facebook. PLEASE get your shit together and do your job. Banning the people who are reporting these issues is NOT a good way to keep your social media platform popular.
Despite the loss of her legs, Li Juhong
has been a doctor in her Chinese village
since 2001.
Li lost her legs when she was 4 years old, on her way to preschool. She ran into the road and got caught under the wheels of a truck.
Since her accident she has been determined to remain mobile, and she learned to walk again using wooden stools. Growing up, Li had always wanted to be a doctor, so she left her village to get a degree in medicine, graduated from college, and was hired at the village clinic a year later.
She later married a man named Xing from her hometown. He quit his job to help around the house, and he carries Li to jobs when she isn’t able to travel by herself. Xing even carries Li on his back to neighboring villages so she can check up on the elderly or people who are unable to travel to her.
“I just did what I felt I had to do. Even if I’m not honored for my work, I would still continue to do my job as a rural doctor.”
